AFFF FOAM STORED PRESSURE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AFFF Foam in this unique Model 254 6 Liter size stainless steel extinguisher with a non-aspirating spray nozzle provides excellent Class A and Class B fire fighting capability.  The smaller size and weight allows easier installation in vehicles and indoor applications such as laboratories.  It has far more penetrating ability, therefore more effective on Class A fires than water.  The AFFF fire fighting agent has long been recognized as a very effective Class B hydrocarbon fire fighting agent.  Excellent for first response vehicles because it can be used to cover non-ignited Class B spills, sealing the surface and thus minimizing the chance of serious fire.  An excellent fire fighting tool that is easy to operate, small and light enough for anyone to use.  Not intended for use on fires involving energized electricity (Class C).  Must be protected from freezing.

WHEELED FFFP FOAM FIRE EXTINGUISHERS 33 Gal. Premix Alcohol Resistant FFFP Foam; 23 cu. ft. Nitrogen Cylinder Direct Pressure Fire Extinguisher.  The Model 630 utilizes an alcohol resistant foam extinguisher agent which combineshigh Class A and Class B fire fighting capability in a highly mobile wheeled unit easily transported and operated by one person.  The foam is premixed FFFP (Film Forming Fluoroprotein) which has the Class A cooling and penetrating action of a "wetting agent" and is highly effective on Class B fires involving alcohol, polar solvents, hydrocarbons such as gasohol.  Equally as good in preventing spill ignition by coating the hazard with 33 gals. of high density, vapor sealing, aerated foam. NFPA 418 Standard for Heliports allows two 33 gal. Foam extinguishers to satisfy Category H-1 requirements.

ABC DRY CHEMICAL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS utilize a Monoammonium Phosphate dry chemical.  It chemically insulates Class A fires by melting and clinging to the heated surface, smothers and breaks the chain reaction on Class B fires and is a non-conductor of electricity.  Units are available in a range of sizes from 2½ to 20 lbs. capacity.  When very large hazards require additional protection, wheeled extinguishers are also available by special order.  Sizes are indicated below:

BC DRY CHEMICAL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS contain a siliconized Sodium Bicarbonate based dry chemical.  Suitable for combating fires in flammable liquids and pressurized gases, these extinguishers are electronically non-conductive.  Clean up after use is easier because the chemical by nature does not bake to a hot surface.  Temperature range -65° To + 120°F.  These units are available in a range of sizes from 2 1/2 to 20 lbs. capacity.  When very large hazards require additional protection, wheeled extinguishers are also available by special order.

CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2) PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS.  Carbon Dioxide is effective for Class B flammable liquid fires, is electronically non-conductive, and is a clean non-contaminating odorless gas, safe for use on clothing, equipment, valuable documents and food.  Carbon Dioxide is discharged as a white cloud of "snow" which smothers a fire by eliminating its oxygen.  It is effective for Class B flammable liquid fires and is electrically non-conductive.  Carbon Dioxide is a clean, non-contaminating, odorless gas, safe for use on clothing, equipment, valuable documents or food.  Available in 50 and 100 lbs. Wheeled extinguishers.

Class K "Kitchen Use" WET CHEMICAL EXTINGUISHERS contains a special potassium acetate based, low PH agent developed for use in pre-engineered restaurant kitchen systems.  Included in the new NFPA 10 1998 edition.  The recent trend to more efficient cooking appliances and use of unsaturated cooking oils dictates the use of a hand portable fire extinguisher with greater fire fighting capacity and cooling effect to combat these very hot and difficult fires.

STORED PRESSURE WATER FIRE EXTINGUISHER.  Water is the fire fighting agent in this stainless steel, stored pressure extinguisher with dent protecting black plastic boot.  The cooling, soaking and penetrating 45-55 ft. stream and 50 sec. discharge times makes it a very effective for inexperienced operators for use on Class A fires.  Protect from freezing by adding he Model 506 Loaded Stream / Anti-freeze charge.  Prevent high chloride content water corrosion by using the Model 507 charge.  FFFP Foam adds Class B fire fighting capability to the Class A effectiveness.  The ALCOHOL RESISTANT fire fighting agent is effective fires in a wide variety of Class B materials such as alcohols, polar solvents, hydrocarbons and combinations such as gasohol.
